The atmosphere of Hemlock is calm, inviting, and filled with a gentle spirit of love. Everything from the layout, hot towels, warm and toasty toilet seat ( had to mention that!) and to their eco-friendly commitment is so heart warming. Moving on to my experience with the ever so sweet and beautiful Caitlin. I was welcomed with a warm hug, and she did a thorough consultation on what my needs and concerns were. She didn’t rush through the service and her attention to detail was impeccable! Her massage during the shampooing part of the service would put anyone into a state of zen… your body just melts into the very comfortable shampoo chairs… Caitlin is a breath of fresh hair and she has her craft dialed in… Which shows in her finished work. She is indeed a hair artist!! I would highly recommend her and this salon to anyone! Oh, and it was worth my two hour drive!!! Love, Love, LOVE CAITLIN!! 💕

Best hair salon I have ever been to, the staff are so friendly and charming. Kate, front desk girl makes a mean tea, Joanana gives amazing head massages. Highly recommend!

I’ve been coming here for years. I love the space, the care, the vibe, and the conversation here. I always feel well cared for. I feel relaxed leaving and always happy with my haircut. Plus, I park on the street (free parking). I don’t plan on going anywhere else!

I see Erin and she super talented, kind, funny, sells amazing products. She is a true expert! I love her passion for the environment. I refill my shampoo at the salon and get a discount. She sells great products. I love chatting with Erin about sustainability, and I love how beautiful my hair looks and feels after I get a fresh cut. I love this salon!!

Icie is the best! She really takes the time to understand what you want and always delivers. I have been going to her for four years for color and truly get compliments on my hair at least once a week. So glad I found her after moving to Atlanta— I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to love their hair!

Highly recommend! Had an amazing time at Hemlock. Alex does an amazing job with listening to my hair vision and giving great advice on handling curls. I got a curly cut and my hair dyed, and I’m in love! The atmosphere is always welcoming and cozy. So glad I found someone who knows how to handle curls!!

This salon has been a dream for me! The service is phenomenal and the detail they provide on suggestions of what hair products would be suitable for me is always next level!! It’s the only place that carries Oway products that are the best out there, and I have chosen to come here for years now! I highly recommend to everyone

This place is beautiful and smells divine. I’m visiting ATL and was lucky enough to book an appointment with Erin for a root touch up, gloss, and haircut. I love my hair! The entire experience was so luxurious from the scalp massage, to the streamed eucalyptus towel, and bespoke elixir - it was like taking a tiny relaxing vacation. It’s clear Erin had a vision when creating this salon. The vibe is peaceful and the services are excellent.

If you’re serious about your hair, especially curls, go see Icie. She handles color, gloss, and cuts with real precision and intention. It’s always a challenge to find someone that understands curly hair. She grasps how curly hair behaves in real life, not just in the salon. It’s rare to find someone who is technically excellent, no nonsense, and genuinely funny. Icie is all three. Her New Yorker humor and seasoned experience bring a sharp confidence to everything she does, which makes you trust her instantly. She knows her craft, says what needs to be said, and delivers consistently beautiful, thoughtfully done hair without the drama. If you want results, personality, and real expertise in one chair, she’s it.

I had a hair appointment with Caitlyn and I am beyond happy with the way my hair came out. She is utterly amazing, she listen to what I wanted and not only did she delivered but outdid herself. The hair washing process was peaceful and I didn’t have to keep holding my head ( like most salons have you do). I was greeted by very friendly staff and the atmosphere is very calming and friendly. I finally found my hairstylist and I will continue coming back.
